Microsoft ha lanzado la primera gran actualización de Windows 7 bajo su nomenclatura habitual: Windows 7 Service Pack 1. En esta actualización, se incluyen numerosas mejoras enfocadas a la seguridad y estabilidad del sistema. Además, Microsoft suele incluir algunas características extras en los distintos Services Packs. No obstante, en el Service Pack 1 de Windows 7 pasarán desapercibidas para la gran mayoría de los usuarios. En cuanto a las novedades del Service Pack 1, éstas están enfocadas principalmente para Windows 2008 Server y destacan RemoteFX, para mejorar la experiencia a la hora de utilizar el Escritorio Remoto, y Dynamic Memory, para gestionar la memoria de servidores virtualizados. A pesar de las escasas novedades aparentes del Service Pack 1 de Windows 7, es conveniente instalarlo ya que sí se incluyen mejoras en la seguridad, estabilidad, robustez y rendimiento del sistema operativo en general. NOTA: Esta versión es únicamente para sistemas operativos de 32 bits. Al descargar Windows 7 Service Pack 1 32 bits acepta los establecidos por Parsec Media S. La descarga será gestionada por un gestor de descargas proporcionado por una empresa ajena que proporciona una descarga e instalación más fácil y segura de Windows 7 Service Pack 1 32 bits. Adicionalmente, el gestor de descargas ofrece aplicaciones y extensiones de navegador adicionales de terceros que puede elegir instalar o no durante el proceso de instalación y descarga.
